Undergraduate and Postgraduate students of Life Sciences, Biotechnology, Veterinary Science, Dentistry and Medicine enrolled in Government and Private Institutes all over India are eligible to participate. Any number of teams (comprising of 2 members per team) can participate in the Prelims from each Institute. Among the teams, the first two teams who are top scorers in the prelims from that Institute are only eligible to participate in the finals. The finalists of last year (2006 to 2014) quiz cannot participate, however their institute can be represented by other students.

Saturday, the 10th of October, 2015 between 1100 and 1830 Hrs at Savera Hotel, Sandesh Hall, Chennai, India. 0900 - 1000 Hrs- Registration for Poster Presentation Session and fixing of posters for display; 1000 - 1040 Hrs- Registration for FCQ participants and Poster Presentation to the Jury; 1055 - 1200 Hrs Prelims; 1200 Hrs Interactive Plenary Session Registration Opens; 1316 -1440 Interactive Plenary session on Stem Cells & Regenerative Medicine; 1511-1655 Hrs - Fujio Cup Quiz Final rounds; 1700-1800 Hrs Anniversary function & prize distribution.
Fujio Cup Quiz (FCQ):
Who all can participate in the Quiz?
Undergraduate and Postgraduate students of Life Sciences, Biotechnology, Veterinary Science, Dentistry and Medicine enrolled in Government and Private Institutes all over India are eligible to participate. How to participate in the quiz competition?
1. Register Online, following which you will get a Temporary Enrollment Number
2. Download the Letter of Recommendation, affix your photograph, sign, fill it, get it signed by the Head of your Institution
3. Pay the fee online or get a Demand Draft in favour of "NICHI-HEPZ KENKO SERVICES PRIVATE LIMITED" payable at Chennai for Rs. 500/- (per team of 2 members) for the Registration fee and send it along with the Letter of Recommendation by Courier / Registered Post to Nichi-In Centre for Regenerative Medicine, C30, 3rd Floor, LICET, Loyola College Campus, Nungambakkam, Chennai 600034 ; Tel: 044-28174743. 4. Fujio Cup Quiz Registration Deadline:30th August 2015
What will the winners of the FCQ get?
1. The WINNING team of quiz will get a cash prize of Rs. 20,000/-
2. The institute to which the winning team of quiz belongs to will be awarded with the Prestigious "Fujio Cup" (Rolling Trophy) which will be with them at their Institution for one year and be surrendered back before the next year's quiz.
3 . The 1st Runner-Up team will get Rs. 10000/- cash prize.
4. Finalists will get certificates distributed at the Anniversary Ceremony (1715-1800 Hrs)
5. All FCQ participants will get a participation certificate for both FCQ and the Symposium, which can be collected at the end of the function.

Students, Faculty, Scientists working in the field of Life Sciences, Medicine, Veterinary and Dental Sciences, Physicians of all Specialities and all those interested in this Evolving Science of Regenerative Medicine including members of the Public
How to participate as a Delegate to attend the Plenary Session & be a Spectator for the Final Rounds of the Quiz?
1. Register Online, following which you will get a Temporary Enrollment Number.
2. Download the Authorisation Letter (for Students) / Payment Details Form (for General Category) affix your photograph, sign, fill it and send it along with the Demand Draft taken in favour of "NICHI-HEPZ KENKO SERVICES PRIVATE LIMITED" payable at Chennai by Courier / Registered Post to Nichi-In Centre for Regenerative Medicine, C30, III Floor, LICET, Loyola College Campus, Nungambakkam, Chennai 600034 ; Tel: 044-28174743 before the deadline. Poster Presentation Session (PPS):
Who all can participate in the Poster Presentation Session?
Undergraduate, Postgraduate students of Life Sciences, Biotechnology, Veterinary Science, Dentistry Medicine, Stem Cell Scientist, Basic Science Researchers, Research Scholars and Clinicians are eligible to participate. Only the registrants of the Fujio Cup Quiz (FCQ) or Plenary Session & Symposium (PS) are eligible to participate in the Poster Presentation Session (PPS).
What is the theme for the Poster Presentation Session?
The theme is "Regenerative Medicine"
What are the categories under which Posters can be presented?
The posters can be presented either under the 'Original' or 'Review' category.
How to participate in the Poster Presentation Session?
1. Registration of the poster's presenting author in either Fujio Cup Quiz or Plenary Session & Symposium is mandatory for participation in Poster Presentation.
2. Kindly go through the instructions for the poster presentation session and submit the abstract Online.
4. Abstract Submission Deadline:30th August 2015
What will the poster presentor get?
1. Presentors of all the selected abstract will get a participation certificate if they abide by the rules and regulations of the event.
2. The best poster in the original category will be awarded a cash prize of Rs. 10,000/-. The best poster in the Review category will be awarded a cash prize of Rs. 5,000/-. The prizes will be awarded during the Anniversary Function. The decision of the jury is final. Only the Presenting Author is eligbile to receive the prize.
3. The participation certificate for poster presentation can be collected in person at the end of the function.
What Else?
Transport, Accommodation and Local Conveyance should be borne by the participants
Important Note:
1. If more than two teams per institute apply for the FCQ, depending upon the space constraints, earlier two teams will be accepted and remaining teams may not be accepted. Therefore getting a temporary enrollment number doesn't ensure a participation. The redundant teams in this case will get their reimbursement in the form of an A/C payee cheque only .
2. There is no refund of fee in case of cancellation of participation by the participants
3. The registrations may be closed earlier if more than the acceptable number of teams / participants enroll. In such case the early teams / persons (who complete all the formalities) will be given priority.
4. For the Quiz competition we are allowing ONLY teams who produce the Letter of Recommendation from their respective institutes. For organizations which are not educational institutes at this time we are NOT entertaining for participation as it may lead to confusion as there will be so many such organizations which may like to send representations. We accept only students of the same institute as members in a team; mixing of students from two different institutes in a team is NOT allowed.
5. Certificates will be issued only in person after the Anniversary Function.
6. The Anniversary Organizing Committee of NCRM NICHE 2015 will have the sole authority and be the final arbiter on all decisions relating to the organisation of the Event, the rules of the Event, the timings and the placings.
